Home based in the Detroit area, Microphoto has had a significant impact in producing prototype, experimental, low volume, and pilot program parts for the big three as well as foreign car manufacturing companies.
Microphoto worked with engineers from the General Motors tech center in Warren MI on their first prototype, airbag deployment and sensor systems. Along with working directly with automotive companies, we also work with their Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier three suppliers, as well as others supplying prototype and low volume parts to many of their prototype suppliers.
Producing parts for the auto industry since 1965 from decorative embellishments for the dash, steering wheel, wheel covers and, valve covers, to seat belt components, auto-electric, audio, turn signal packages, climate control, air pressure monitor systems, fuel systems, filter systems, voice command, hydrogen generation cells, etc., the list is endless.
Applications for our automotive chemical etching include:
- Shock absorber fluid metering washers
- Instrument cluster “panels”
- Fuel injector metering nozzle inserts
- Electronics systems terminals/contacts/covers/heat sinks/lead frames Hybrid battery systems
- Fuel/Fluid systems screens/filters
- Antique restoration parts
- Motorcyle “stuff”
- Transmission systems
- Sill plates
Microphoto services virtually every industry with a need for metal components. We have produced and shipped parts to nearly every continent on earth. From Foundries to Surgical labs, Air-bag sensors to Munitions, Satellites to Mining equipment, the need for our services is endless.
Whether it is a simple washer, intricate lead frame, formed flat spring, metal model parts (cars, boats, trains) architectural models, or an electrical contact, we can most likely produce your part if it made from sheet, strip or plate stock.
